Dr. Yu is THE best dentist that I have ever been to in my life! He has a calm, confident, compassionate and professional demeanor that is backed up by his superior skills as a dentist. These qualities are particularly important to me as every dentist I have been to in the past 10 years has not been able to numb my mouth properly for dental procedures.

Dr. Yu is the first dentist who was sensitive enough to listen to my concerns and used his expertise to numb the nerves that other dentist could not find. This provided me with tremendous relief and comfort instead of the painful dental experiences I had gotten used to from other dentists. Not only were the procedures relatively pain free but the results were excellent! I am absolutely pleased with all the work I have received from Dr. Yu! Dr. Yu is also very concerned with 100% customer satisfaction. He is always glad to make any adjustments to get everything perfect!

New Century Dental is also very concerned about making sure that the patient gets the absolute best in dental care. Victoria always works with me and the doctor to make sure that the absolute maximum amount of care is rendered for our insurance benefits! This is very important to me during these economic times!

Dr. Yu moved offices a few years ago. Today, my wife and I have to drive about an hour to visit him. Let me say that the commute is time well spent! You cannot put a price on such excellent dental care. Thank you Dr. Yu and New Century Dental for taking care of all our dental needs!

I drive forty miles each way to get to this dentist. He saved my tooth. He is a painless dentist! Did I say painless yet?

A Beverly Hills dentist hit a root while replacing the one filling that I had in my mouth. I have good teeth. Or had good teeth before the Beverly Hills dentist.

I ran out screaming and took the only appointed that I could find in five minutes on a Saturday. Anyone who has ever had a partial root canal knows what pain I was in.

I found Dr Yu who was working for Dr. Campbell in North Hollywood.
He gave me a painless root canal and saved another took that the Beverly hills dentist tried to destroy.

He left Dr Campbell before I got the crown. I tracked Dr Yu down to his new location in Ontario to replace the bad crown that the new dentist botched up at Dr. Campbell in North Hollywood. I got a refund from Dr. Campbell and I will never go to another dentist.

Thanks to Dr. Yu I no longer shake in fear when I sit in the dentist chair. if you are afraid of pain an want to save your teeth, you will be in good hands with Dr Yu. I drive a hundred miles to see him.

Dr. Yu and Dr. Xu are the best dentists that I have ever had and their office staff Victoria and Miguel are warm and well-organized. Their office has awesome equipments.  My dental visits with them are pleasant experience.

I first switched to see Dr. Yu when I had a very bad toothache and found out that one of my teeth had decayed. At that time, I was not happy with my original dentist in West Los Angeles who worked down the street where I lived. She told me that I might have to have a surgery to knock off some of the bone in order to take the decayed teeth out. A simple teeth cleaning was even painful in her office, I would not feel comfortable having her have a surgery on me to pull out my teeth.  I went to see Dr. Yu who was working in Pasadena at that time, and he explained to me that I did not need to have complicated surgery. He did local analgesia and pulled out my teeth with ease, just like a magician—I had a painless experience.  Since then, I became a loyal patient and had him do my teeth cleaning. He is so gentle yet so efficient at teeth cleaning. The whole experience was bless and I was eager for the regular check up rather than being afraid of going to dental office or delaying my visits. Around 2006, Dr. Yu and Dr. Xu opened their new office in Ontario, even though it was about one hour driving from Santa Monica to Ontario; I followed them to their new office. The new office is clean and spacious, with fancy and up-to-date equipments. Their X-ray machines have minimal radiation and are capable for taking digital pictures which are immediately transferred to computers for immediate viewing as well as record keeping.  Dr. Yu or Xu would go over the results with the image in front of me and discuss things that I need to watch for in order to prevent for tooth decay, and I could even get a copy of the image.  Dr. Xu is as excellent as Dr. Yu and she fixed my teeth a couple of times. They are both very patient at explaining things. 

I moved away from California two years ago and I had been seeing several dentists but had not found one that I really liked. It is really hard to find a good dentist particularly if you have problematic teeth. I really missed Dr. Yu and Xu and I am so happy that I was able to make a recent trip flying back to Ontario to see them and get my teeth cleaned and fixed again.  If you are in Ontario or surrounding areas, you are lucky that you have a fantastic local dental office that you can easily go to.

My wife got me to give Dr. Yu and Dr. Xu a try and she was right.  They are highly skilled, doing preventive cleanings themselves, without any of the discomfort often experienced at other dentists.  The office is clean and the equipment is state of the art so I know I’m getting the best care possible.  I want to keep my teeth and gums healthy and by going to New Century Dental I know that I’m doing that.
